"There he (and this film) blows"

Films: 2010-Moby Dick (2010)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Ocean

Height/Weight: Four times that of an aircraft carrier.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The tale of the infamous White Whale is as legendary as they come. A classical story of mankind's futile attempt at getting one over nature. Well, this year...the harpoon doesn't quite stick the landing, and all we got out of it was one really ugly "whale".

History: In 1969, a huge sea monster took out a submarine, and with it, the leg of the man who would become Captain Ahab. The monster was an unnaturally large and demonic-looking sperm whale named Moby Dick, and even in the modern day, Ahab knew it was still out there. With his sub called the Pequod and a crew of many, he now wages war against the monster whale.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Even after getting beached, Moby Dick puts up a fight, killing almost the entire crew of the Pequod and managing to get back into the sea before the nukes (that's nukes with a plural) detonate. To this day, he is still out there.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3-Moby Dick looks less like a sperm whale and more like an oversized shark minus the dorsal fin. Sadly, the Asylum's typical bad CGI do little to save this whale from being much more. Still, this is by far the most savage the White Whale has ever been.

Trivia: -If there IS a perfectly good example of a monstrous whale, it's been long extinct since the Pliocene epoch. It was a whale so hardcore, it could swim in the same waters the Megalodon called home. Fittingly, it was called Livyatan melvillei, named after both the biblical Leviathan and Herman Melville, the author of the original "Moby Dick". While probably not quite as big as the modern sperm whale, it was thought to be a supreme apex predator, feeding on other whales and perhaps even Megalodon itself.

-Ahab was played by Barry Bostwick, who has found infinitely more dignity and recognition in musical theater, particularly in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".

Bruce went for helpless dames. He's gonna go higher than that.

If you think this is wild, wait until the giant squid comes.

Whale watching gone horribly wrong.
The Sea-Green Whale's a bit more of a jerk than the other one.

He just thought that carrier looked like an oversized turtle!

"From Hell's Heart, I shooteth thee!"
